What is Subscribal?
Subscribal Print is the digital platform from Kudos Technology that enables companies and charities to acquire a new HP Printer or Multi- Function Device on a monthly subscription basis, very much like a mobile phone tariff.
Our proposition includes the following benefits;

Office printing, copying and scanning is still an integral part of most business operations, yet it can be a serious productivity blocker. If you were to add up the time and resources your business spends setting up, repairing, and ordering, paying for and storing supplies for your printer, we suspect that you would be shocked.
Quite simply, Subscribal takes away all of the hassle of managing these devices, and because you are contracting with HP for three years they are prepared to discount the running costs substantially, making the proposition really economical.

When you sign up for Subscribal you receive a new HP Multi-Function Printer, Original HP supplies delivered as and when you need them, plus Next Business Day Onsite Service from an HP technician, if your machine needs fixing.
All of this is included for a low monthly subscription payment.
You don’t have to pay for the Multi-function device upfront, or commit to a 5 year lease, which does tend to be the industry norm these day. However, it would be wrong to say that it is free, as it is included in your monthly Subscribal payment.
No, you will not receive cartridges every month on your Subscribal plan. You will be supplied the cartridges as and when required before the current ones expire.
However, please note that we do tend to supply high capacity cartridges, some of which are not available to the general market, which means that they will last a lot longer than general cartridges.
Yes. Subscribal does not differentiate between Colour and Black and White Pages, so you can print a full colour photograph for the same price as a mono compliment slip.
Your monthly payment covers the HP device, Next Business Day Onsite Service, and Original HP Supplies with automated delivery, for all of the pages on your Subscribal plan. All that you have to do is provide the paper.
A printed page counts the same whether it’s black and white or a colour photo on your Subscribal plan.
Pages are counted per A4 printed side, therefore an A4 double-sided would count as two pages. Any prints on stock smaller than A4 (ie. A5, A6 or Envelopes) will click on the meter as an A4 page.
An A3 single-sided document will click as two A4 pages. If it were to be double-sided it would count as four A4 pages.
The key thing is to understand what your average monthly volume is likely to be. This isn’t always easy to do, but a good indication will be how many reams of paper you use each month.
Most reams of 80-90 gsm copier or printer paper tend to have 500 sheets in a ream, therefore:
Just be aware that this is only a guide, because if you currently do a lot of double-sided pages then your calculated pages will be higher, so probably better to overstate the usage in the beginning.
Please remember that unused pages will be rolled into the next year, and that you can always change the plan, up or down, on the anniversary.
Any adjustments to your page plan will become effective on your annual anniversary date and will not apply retroactively. Plan changes must be made at least 14 days prior to your plan anniversary date.
We will reconcile the account at the end of the year, if you haven’t used up your annual allowance then the pages will be carried forward into your Subscribal plan allocation for the following year.
If you have printed in excess of the pages in your annual Subscribal then you will be invoiced for these separately at the agreed cost per page.
Yes, you can cancel your Subscribal page plan at any point during the agreement.
The effective date will be the date of your next anniversary, with all pages up until this anniversary date being lost.
The hardware will need to be terminated separately with our finance partner.
You will need to install the device yourself at your premises. We can provide some support with written instructions and phone support, when and where possible.
At the end of your plan, you return the HP device and have the option to start a new Subscribal plan with a new HP device.
You will need to notify Kudos when the machine alerts you that it is running low on cartridges and we will ship the replacement Subscribal cartridge to you. This can be done by contacting us here firstname.lastname@example.org or 01509 351000.
Your Subscribal cartridges are sent using standard shipping and should be received within 48 hours of shipment.
Your Subscribal plan includes Next Business hardware support from HP technicians who will attend your premises, if it’s deemed necessary, to fix the device. Your plan includes replacement parts and materials, plus remote support from the HP call center.

Yes, all necessary repair parts and long-life consumables are all included in your Subscribal plan.
All Companies and Charities are eligible for a Subscribal agreement, subject to credit approval.
It is very simple to sign up for a Subscribal agreement, all that we require is the following;

We will then arrange for the contract to be emailed to you, this can be signed by e-signature.
In many cases, Subscribal Print credit approval happens within minutes, however in some cases it can take up to 48 hours.
Your first payment is due on the first day of the month following the acceptance date of the Subscribal agreement.

No, we do not currently charge for scanning in the Subscribal plan, providing the number of scanned pages does not exceed 30% of the total printed pages.
